Act as a day-to-day sales coordinator, executing on the development and maintenance of sales activities and administration of sales platforms. Sales Coordinator will take the lead and coordinates with newly recruited Sales Broker team members. They will have superior analytical skills and a firm grasp on their customers throughout the sales process.The position requires in depth knowledge of all policies and procedures regarding customers’ accounts.
Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of all the company's services and products and manage keeping all sales collateral updated (sell sheets, pitch decks, pricing, etc.)
Maintain organized sales reports and report month-end goal setting to the senior management team
Acts as a communication point with Broker team, facilitating process, managing assets, price changes, reporting and follow through
Establish CRM (Customer Relationship Management – ex: SalesForce) tool and maintain with data entry
Establish and manage universal item maintenance tool (IX1) to be used nationally by all current and future customers for Good Source Foods products
Communicates with Order Process team to ensure sales orders are processed according to each retailer’s guidelines. Check all sales orders for accuracy and log into the system in a timely and accurate manner. Track sales orders to ensure that they are scheduled and shipped as requested
Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly answering emails, handling orders, and proactively seeking growth opportunities within existing and new customer base
Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information
Supports sales & marketing with presentation development and delivery. At times assist in pitches
Minimum Qualifications
B.A. degree preferred
Articulate and thorough in communication and follow up
Previous customer service experience in an office setting
