Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applicants for a part-time Trainer to join our Professional Education department. We are looking for a creative and experienced Project Management professional. The Adjunct Trainer position is assigned to individuals employed on a part-time basis by MSOE to prepare and deliver non-credit, professional education and training. Compensation will be based upon qualifications to include professional and previous training experience, along with academic credentials. This position is intended to support the efforts of MSOE’s professional development and education units and are not for individuals teaching in an academic department or school.
Based on the above-mentioned conditions, adjunct trainers are needed for the following field:
Project Management
Responsibilities The adjunct trainer will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating project management training sessions as assigned for online and in-person presentation. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching custom online courses with full audio, media and learner interactivity. He/She should be able to teach premade material or to customize material upon request. Job Requirements
PMP or similar pertinent certification.
5+ years of training/teaching experience.
Master’s degree or equivalent level of deep experience in the field – as required
Solid understanding of the basic theory and ability to teach in a practical-oriented way.
Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead groups and analyze materials for the purpose of training documentation and training class development.
