Enterprise Sales Executive - One Alight sellers

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a highly motivated Enterprise Sales Executive focused on developing large market new revenue growth through value-based BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) Solutions selling across the Alight Benefits product portfolio.

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Sales Executive must be able to effectively drive large market new revenue growth across the Alight Portfolio. Assigned territory will be industry based and the sales executive has end-to-end responsibility for driving creative, bundled solutions that demonstrate our "One Alight" advantage for the entire portfolio (Benefits, Payroll, Cloud, and Consumer Experience).

The sales executive ideally has a background in Large Market Benefits and will become a generalist in the entire Alight portfolio. The individual will work with assigned Solution Architects who are product experts and pre-sales support.

The sales executive must be capable of executing the full sales cycle, understands our competition, and be the trusted advisor to their assigned clients. This individual must be able to effectively collaborate with Alight sales colleagues, delivery executives, the value engineering team, solutions advisors and product experts.

This is an individual contributor role who will report directly to an Enterprise Sales Vice President.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve/exceed individual sales quota for fiscal year
  • Be a trusted advisor with the ability to maintain C-suite level relationships, providing long term solutions for new clients
  • Must have product and solution knowledge across the entire spectrum of Alight - benefits, payroll, cloud, and consumer experience
  • Must have demonstrated a multi-functional pursuit team across sales, accounts, solutions, technology and marketing functions to tell the One Alight story in a compelling, consistent way
  • Set and execute the sales strategy for assigned territory and lead the development of a sales plan targeting new clients
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence on products/services and incorporate it into sales client planning process
  • Effectively utilize lead generation team in Marketing and other sales support resources at the appropriate time in the selling process
  • Demonstrate strong sales strategy ability by crafting and presenting client offers and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale
  • Manage and maximize the client level cost of sale
  • Provide input on pricing decisions striving to sell at the highest possible profit margin
  • Maximize the use (both individually and with the team) of sanctioned tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com

Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Sales Skills - The Sales Executive should exhibit excellent skills throughout all stages of a consultative selling process, including pipeline management, strong negotiation skills and the ability to close opportunities. They should be able to sell value over price by providing deep insight about how the service will impact the client's business.
  • Subject Matter Expertise - The Sales Executive should already have broad content knowledge of either Large Market Health or Payroll & Cloud. They will need to develop a thorough understanding of all Alight Solutions products and services in their portfolio.
  • Relationship Management - The Sales Executive will need to build strong relationships at multiple levels in a potential client company, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to that organization. They will also need to maintain productive, internal relationships in order to leverage those resources when necessary.
  • Communication/Project Management - The Sales Executive should have the ability to manage multiple, complex sales processes at the same time. They need very strong internal and external communication skills, with the ability to listen comprehensively and deliver clear instructions and/or recommendations.
  • Team Leadership - The Sales Executive should strive to be a role model for colleagues they work with closely in the organization and have an interest in the team's success. They should be willing to proactively work together to overcome obstacles and share best practices across the team.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 6-8+ yrs experience with C-suite level consultative sales experience
  • 6-8+ yrs firm experience in Benefits
