Position Description:

As a Referral Manager, you will have overall administrative responsibility for the organization, direction, and management of the referral management team, along with long-term strategic planning. The Referral Manager establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency that supports excellent and positive patient experiences. This role manages, leads, and inspires referral center staff and collaborates with hospital and ambulatory operations leadership. Responsibilities: Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
The Referral Manager is accountable for all activities related to workflows, performance data, and overall management of the operations and cross-functional areas to maximize referral efficiency, optimize the consumer (patient, family, referring provider) experience, and encourage strong internal provider partnerships.

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum education: High school diploma
Minimum experience: Five years leadership experience including working in the healthcare field or service required.
Preferred education: Bachelor's or associate's degree (Healthcare Administration a plus) preferred.
Preferred Experience: Experience in physician group practice, ancillary scheduling, and referrals. Strong computer and electronic health record knowledge.Strong customer service experience.
