To assist World Customs Brokers with all communications to outside brokers and gateway offices.
Communicate with outside "gateway" offices regarding clearance
Communicate with WC gateway brokers for the facilitation of Customs clearance
Communicate with client specific brokers to facilitate clearance
Communicate with clients regarding the status of shipments.
Enter and control charges with outside brokers.
Communicate with Domestic Customer Service the arrival of shipments to agent locations.
Enter thorough notes in job regarding status
To keep current and understand all SOP
Maintain and update the Client Broker list
Administrative duties including printing, filing, processing gateway broker bills, following up on expired permits, POA and Bonds, running department reports
Communicate professionally with clients via phone and e-mail regarding the status of their shipments
Pleasant personality, and professional demeanor
Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and other WC offices (team player)
Flexibility with schedule, as WC is a 24 hour operation
Overtime may be required
