We are looking for an energetic and technically skilled Veterinary Technician to join our busy Emergency Service.

This is a Full-time 2nd shift position at our Waukesha location.

As a Veterinary Technician in the Emergency/Critical Care department your responsibilities include:

  • Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit
  • Partnering with DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates. 
  • Utilizing different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
  • Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events
  • Surgical assisting for minor (non-specialty) procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting required.
  • CVT or VTS preferred, but not required.
