|Job Summary|| |
The successful candidate will teach welding courses in a community college environment. Courses are offered in the evening during the Fall, Spring and Summer terms at our Grayslake campus.
The instructor is responsible for creating and distributing a course syllabus, teaching all scheduled classes, responding to and evaluating students.
|Required Qualification|| |
Five (5) years of work experience and certification.
A.A.S. in Welding Technology with five (5) years of diversified field experience and certification
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology or Industrial Education with two (2) years of experience in the field and certification
Ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
