Job Summary

This position has primary responsibility for assisting the Director with implementation of educational support services for the Lakeshore Campus and the day-to-day operations of the Student Services Center. Interacts with Business Services, the Library, Learning Assistance Center, Student Development, and Division Offices to ensure that appropriate courses, programs, and student support services are provided at the Lakeshore Campus. Assists the Director in identifying, scheduling, and delivering academic courses and programs.

Required Qualification

1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong organizational skills
3. The ability to be accurate and detail oriented.
4. Strong (intermediate) Excel and Word skills.
5. At least two years of progressive responsibility office work experience.
6. Strong customer service experience.
7. Sound quantitative skills.
8. Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Desired Qualifications

1. Experience with scheduling software, R25 in particular.
2. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
3. Experience using the PeopleSoft system.

Please note this is a split-shift position, Monday - Thursday, 12:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., at the Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan.

Position will remain open until filled

Pay Rate $11.99/Hr.
