Civil Air Patrol Cadet will rotate throughout different disciplines depending on location. All work performed will be conducted under Textron Aviation leadership guidance. Disciplines could include Aircraft Maintenance / Avionics Maintenance, Quality Control Oversight, and Service Center operations.
Gain knowledge of the Customer Service Representatives, Lead Technicians.
Mirror maintenance technicians to perform maintenance tasks to repair the aircraft during a scheduled maintenance / inspection visit.
Perform a variety of mechanical duties including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of various systems to complete aircraft. Familiarization to include incoming inspection of aircraft and final release processes.
Mirror parts department clerks to gain knowledge of the process of ordering parts.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pursuing Aircraft & Powerplant education/license
- Wright Brothers Award achievement
- Private pilot license a plus
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Must be a member of the Civil Air Patrol
