Desktop Support Representative

Our client located in downtown Milwaukee, WI is looking to hire a Desktop Support Representative to join their team on contract for the remainder of 2019.


The Desktop Support Representative will be responsible for providing expert level technical assistance in desktop supported applications and hardware.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Image laptop computers (SCCM)
  • Format, install, setup, maintain and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers with and for end users.
  • Add or replace memory, hard drives, keyboards, docking stations and mice
  • Upgrade existing Windows 7 desktop computers with Windows 10


Requires extensive knowledge of and experience with desktop technology including, but not limited to, desktop operating systems, desktop applications, desktop hardware, laptop systems, supported mobile/wireless devices and peripherals.

Requires a two-year college degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science or information systems management. A+ or MCSE preferred.

Requires 2 years of experience:

Desktop Support

Troubleshooting Technical issues

Windows 10 / Windows 7

Requires 1 year of experience:

Desktop Management

Remote Desktop

Active Directory

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 /hour
