1st Shift Lead

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility of shift lead is to work with the Supervisor, while working as a fitter/welder in the shop.
Assist with tasks as necessary to complete customer orders.
Provide leadership and direction to employees under his/her direct responsibility.
Must be flexible to updated changes in production schedules.
Delegate tasks so that employees can meet production deadlines.
Maintain desired product quality and safety.
Maintain adequate knowledge of product and equipment to ensure ability to direct employees to perform job properly.
Proficiency tests in welding and blueprint reading will be administered.
Qualifications:
Experience with open table set up
flux core and mig welding, fabricating, blueprint reading and supervising personnel required.
Experience in use of forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, power hand tools, etc.
Work Schedule is 1st shift, 7:00 am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)
Wage: Competitive (DOE)
PTO in the first year; paid holidays, benefits package which includes health, dental, vision and retirement plans.
