Job Description
Telsmith, an ISO certified worldwide leader and manufacturer of crushing and screening equipment for the quarry and mining industries is currently in search of a full-time Accounting Clerk to be primarily responsible for processing accounts payable and compliance testing.  
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Responsible for full cycle accounts payable including the understanding, explaining, and processing of vendor invoices, statements, credit memos from data entry through payment.
  • Responsible for enforcing Telsmith policies and procedures along with any compliance requirements.
  • Internal/external customer service while answering questions via email, phone, and in person.
  • Enter and post transactions into the financial database with a “zero defect” standard
  • Provide assistance with internal and external audit, SOX compliance and regulations
  • Maintain vendor accounts including 1099 tax returns
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in reconciling and posting to vendor accounts
  • Able to prioritize work load with a high degree of accuracy and organization
  • Handling of checks, ACH transactions, domestic and international wires
  • Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast paced and high volume office environment
  • Willing to learn, adapt to change, and take on new tasks
  • Professionally deal with a variety of people within the office
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Deadline conscience
  • Basic working knowledge of the payables, invoicing/vouchering, matching, and disbursement process.
 Education and Training
  • Requires 2-3 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency including intermediate Excel knowledge
  • MS Dynamics AX preferred
