Contract/Freelance Project Description
- The current AD FS setup consists of one AD FS server and two web application proxy servers
- All three servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2
- The version of AD FS is 2.0
- All of our Active Directory domain controllers are running Windows Server 2012 R2 and the domain functional level is the same
- We have three relying party trusts configured
Our goal would be to have someone come in and assess the current environment, develop a plan to upgrade to the latest version (Windows Server 2016/AD FS 4.0), perform the upgrade, then provide some knowledge transfer post-upgrade. When assessing the current environment and developing an upgrade plan, we would desire for the individual to make recommendations regarding the architecture and best practices such as whether we should maintain two web application proxy servers or if one would suffice, etc.
