The Resident Care Assistant (RCA) ensures each resident’s right to privacy, confidentiality, and self-worth by assisting residents who have a need for personal care including dressing and undressing/setting out clothes; bathing; grooming and hygiene/toileting, depends, etc.; wake up calls; making or opening a bed; changing and washing bed linens when needed; light housekeeping; transportation to meals within building; assistance in dining room as needed. The RCA will be responsible for appropriate documentation as required and communicating resident concerns and changes in condition to the nurse.
Villa St. Francis is a large assisted living community (serving over 100 residents) and is a licensed community-based residential facility (CBRF). CBRF certificates (standard precautions, first aid and choking, fire safety, resident rights, challenging behaviors, client group specific, and medication administration) are preferred.
Additionally, candidates must be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze an issue, identify options, and implement solutions
- Have the ability to work cooperatively, communicate effectively, and take directions
- Must be able to document accurately, pay attention to details, and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Part Time Openings
-1st Shift (Every other weekend) (6:30am to 2:30pm)
-2nd Shift (PT) (2:30pm to 10:30pm) (3pm to 9pm)
-3rd Shift (Every other weekend) (10:30pm to 6:30am)
