Sheetmusicplus.com, a division of Hal Leonard, is seeking an outgoing, energetic Ecommerce Customer Service representative to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. Ideal candidates must have a strong music background (Bachelor’s degree in music preferred); strong oral and written communication skills with excellent grammar and spelling; solid computer skills including strong understanding of email applications, Internet browsers and database programs; the ability to interact with customers to resolve issues in a professional manner; and a customer centric, reliable, conscientious disposition.
Respond to phone and email customer inquiries promptly, accurately and with a friendly demeanor. Customer inquiries include the following topics.
Help in selecting music
Answering questions about specific sheet music titles
Answering questions regarding specific orders, including order status and estimated shipping times.
Help customers with digital sheet music orders
Process reshipments and make order corrections
Take phone orders
Answer questions about store policy or website functionality
Being reliable and punctual so that phones and email are fully covered during advertised times.
Communicate with publishers, couriers, and other SMP staff as needed to assist customers with problems.
Appropriately escalate customer issues or questions to the supervisor and Sheet Music Plus team. Represent the customer’s needs to the Sheet Music Plus team.
Record inquiry statistics as requested.
Complete other projects as assigned by the Supervisor as needed, including development of templates, training materials, and other customer service related documents.
