Job Description
Ken Cook Co. is growing and we are looking to bring talent to our Sales team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of sales experience.  You will be selling training services to various industries, mainly manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prospect potential customers to set appointments and product demonstrations
  • Use LinkedIn, social media, tradeshows, industry magazines, and inbound leads to prospect new business opportunities
  • Follow sales processes to qualify leads and convert into new customers
  • Attend tradeshows and expos to represent the company, meet with prospects and current customers
  • Key liaison to coordinate activities between the customer and Ken Cook Co.
  • Must prepare and present proposals to prospects and secure business
  • Lead internal meetings with sales support team members
  • Manage customer information using CRM system, including recording of sales visit notes and appointments, projects, proposed opportunities and contact information
  • Meet or exceed annual forecasts and monthly sales quotas.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience
  • Experience in a solution based selling environment or selling professional services
  • Proven track record of success closing new business and meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Should have strong presentation, organization and time management skills
  • Previous knowledge with online training programs would be a plus
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees. Refined persuasion and related sales and presentation skills
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Good judgment and decision making
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 50% of time
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
