STS AeroStaff Services is currently recruiting for several skilled Commercial Painters, to perform custom paint and graphics on aircraft, in addition to a variety of aviation vehicles and equipment. Opportunities are immediately available in Lake City, FL.
Position Overview
- Prepare and mix proper painting materials
- Mask and prepare aircraft for primer application
- Sand primer for paint and topcoat application
- Mask and prepare aircraft for strips, registration numbers and other areas as needed
- Removal of masking on aircraft
- Assist with upholstery shop duties as assigned by management
- Deliver aircraft or project to customer in a timely and efficient manor
- Complete necessary documentation, information and updates for the work order
- Maintain shop facilities and equipment by changing filters, cleaning, repairing and other duties as assigned by management
- Responsible to follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards
- Must know all aspects of painting: sanding, taping, painting, etc.
- Must have own respirator
- Prior commercial painting experience
