Spanish Speaking Real Estate Associate
ACTS Housing, a non-profit social enterprise that has helped more than 2300 families become homeowners in Milwaukee, is growing our real estate team; adding three-new realtors! We are looking for mission minded individuals who enjoy helping families with barriers to homeownership achieve the American dream. Our team needs to be as diverse as the families we serve, leading to the need for a real estate associate bilingual in English and Spanish help us meet the special needs of ACTS families.
We offer generous commission splits in addition to an excellent benefit package including unlimited bonus potential, continuing education allowance, and dedicated office space with no desk fees, marketing support, unlimited copier, fax, and printer use. In addition ACTS pays MLS and annual membership dues, E&O insurance, and license renewal fees. Duties and Responsibilities
The real estate associate will operate as an independent contractor under the general direction of the managing broker and in collaboration with the ACTS Counseling and Rehab departments. The best fit for this role will be someone who desires to become a member of a coordinated team to engage in real estate transactions that serve the needs of ACTS families.
Accomplish organization’s mission by prioritizing the needs and delivery of services to buyers coming through the ACTS counseling program, planning and participating in community outreach events and organized bus tours, attending counseling orientations, and collaborating with rehab counselors to identify home sale opportunities
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and host home sale events to market properties that are key to the core mission of ACTS, such as donated properties or city tax foreclosures
Develop content for sales presentations or other materials to promote sales of properties through advertisements, open houses, and participation in multiple listing services
Collaborate with the real estate sales, counseling, and rehab teams to effectively serve ACTS families
Updates job knowledge by studying listings; visiting properties during broker opens; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional and community organizations
Real Estate Agent Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
Pleasant and trustworthy
Real estate agent’s or broker’s license (or passion and drive to become licensed)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Valid driver’s license
Unrestricted use of an insured motor vehicle
