Primary duties of this position will include: o Working with business units, customers, and vendors to assist in determination of transaction tax treatment (United States and Canadian) of projects, invoices, and purchase orders. o Research and analysis of proposed transactions. o Assist in the gathering and review of audit support documentation. o Assist in the management of internal / external audits. o Working with Accounting Support Tax Team to assist in clearing sales tax discrepancies from customer A/R accounts. o Working with Vendors to provide proper tax exemption certificates. o Preparation or review of transaction tax refund claims. o Gathering and preparing or review of monthly sales tax compliance. o Preparation of transaction tax general ledger reconciliation accounts.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 1. Four Year Accounting Degree 2. Two – three years sales tax experience Please do not send resumes that do not meet these qualifications unless the candidate has extensive sales tax experience.
