For over 50 years the Whole Health Clinical Group, formerly Transitional Living Services, has provided members of our community with a variety of services including Certified Peer Support. Peer Support Specialists provide an array of services at Whole Health Clinical Group including:

  • Working in our supported living apartments
  • Assisting clients to master daily living skills
  • Providing strength-based skill assessments
  • Helping clients identify personal recovery goals for their individualized service plans

Peer Specialists truly serve a vital role in the lives of our clients.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive therapeutic relationships with our clients.
  • Excellent understanding of the importance of professionalism and professional boundaries in the client/service provider relationship.
  • A firm understanding of the recovery process
  • A willingness to share one's own lived experience and personal recovery story to assist clients

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • A current Wisconsin Peer Support Certification.
  • A Valid Wisconsin driver's license, automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle are highly and required for all community based Peer Support roles. For all site specific roles, such as those only supporting a specific residential facility, this is not required.
