The Milwaukee Catholic Home is currently seeking a full-time (1.0) Food Services Dining Services Supervisor. Schedule includes working 10AM-6:30PM Wednesday through Saturday and 6AM - 2:30PM Sunday. Strong culinary background, sanitation certification, at least 3 years of supervisory experience, and attention to detail is preferred. Prior culinary experience is required
Responsibilities include:
· Directly involved with the preparation and cooking of all meals served.
· Assists in maintaining sufficient quantities of other food (i.e. bakery and juice) and supplies. Ensures proper utilization of goods.
· Supervises cleaning and sanitation of dining room, kitchen, dish room and staff lounge.
· Determines daily work and cleaning assignments, scheduling food service aides as needed.
· Responsible for assessing resident satisfaction through mealtime visitation and observation.
· Assists in maintaining daily record of meals served.
· Directly supervises employees involved in dining room service, resident tray service and dish room areas.
· Coordinates departmental meetings and in-service training for Food Service Aides. Assists in the processing of Food Service timecards.
· Evaluates employees work performance and assists in documentation relative to employee performance, including discipline procedures.
Position is eligible for full range of benefits after 90 days.
