Job Description
Basic Function of Position:
Under direct supervision, troubleshoots and solves complex maintenance problems in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, or HVAC. May perform Custodial Worker II duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one to three year of related work experience
  • Must be able to do the following:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Receive passing score on Hands on Maintenance Test
  • Written and Verbal Communication skills equivalent to work in a professional environment and follow a written work schedule prepared by the supervisor
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.  Performs maintenance service and complex repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC repairs not requiring licensed contractors.
2.  Troubleshoots and solves complex maintenance problems.
3.  May perform Custodial Worker II duties as directed by managers (i.e., prepares vacant units for occupancy, operates and maintains trash disposal system, and performs general building and grounds keeping duties).
4.  Other duties as assigned.

Type of Skill and/or Licensing/Certification/Registration:

Valid Wisconsin Drivers License; Boiler Operators License
