Mount Mary University, Wisconsin’s oldest Catholic university for women, is seeking an individual to contribute to the realization of our mission through the role of a full-time, 9-month contract, occupational therapy position, to begin in August 2016. Rank is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses, supervising and advising students, and engaging in scholarly activity. The ideal candidate should have:
occupational therapy clinical practice experience of at least three years with practice experience in adult physical disabilities.
previous higher education teaching experience, but will consider other relevant experience.
terminal degree in occupational therapy or a related field. Will consider candidates with progress toward a terminal degree.
Wisconsin state licensure in occupational therapy or eligibility.
Mount Mary University was founded in 1913 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Located on an 80-acre campus in Milwaukee, the University offers more than 30 undergraduate areas of study for women and eight graduate programs for women and men. The Occupational Therapy Department, founded in 1941, has a rich history of graduating exceptional practitioners. The mission of the program is to provide a professional education resulting in skilled hands-on practitioners who are client-centered and occupation-centered in their approach to practice. The department offers a combined BS/MS program, as well as an MSOT program.
