Here's what you'll need to do in this position:
Conduct daily sales calls to on and off-premise accounts within a designated territory (this means you have to consistently show up when expected).
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with your customers (this means work to make them happy and buy more wine & spirits from us, things like merchandising and stocking shelves, and providing marketing materials).
Plan and conduct off-premise wine tastings and on-premise wine dinners.
Participate in industry trade shows, as required.
Make cold calls in the development of new business.
Sell lots of wines & spirits (preferably ours).
What you need:
A valid driver's license.
A reliable car.
The ability to communicate effectively and sell wine & spirits (again, preferably ours).
Base salary $25,000-$40,000 commensurate with experience. Plus commission on gross sales (12 month minimum guarantee of $25,000). Health plan available (direct primary care and health sharing plans). Monthly fuel/vehicle allowance. Flexible schedule. Supplier driven sales incentives.
