Job Description
Position Description

Plans and manages sales activities of assigned accounts to meet sales objectives and to obtain targeted sales volume and profitability. Builds working relationships with the key account stakeholders to manage day to day operations with a specific account. Acts as a two-way conduit to the account from the company and vice versa.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Forecasts monthly and annual sales for assigned accounts
  2. Investigates and reports competitor activities
  3. Communicates product changes, new product programs, samples, quotations, specifications and pricing changes in a timely manner
  4. Manages internal and external conflict and provides resolution for accounts and the organization
  5. Coordinates and communicates scheduling dates, backorder availability and shipping schedules with customers
  6. Investigates and develops new sales opportunities, customers, and markets
  7. Develops and implements special pricing programs and promotions
  8. Exercises extensive knowledge of product line and its application to customers
  9. Builds working relationships with the key stakeholders for each account
  10. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Expert on trade agreements that directly affect the sales area
  • Solid computer skills
  • Solid analytical skills to effectively develop strategies and solve problems
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to initiate and complete projects independently
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of three years experience working in a sales environment or related field
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Moderate travel
