Position Purpose: Work closely with our optical and management staff to purchase and maintain an accurate database of our large, high-end, hand-made, eyewear inventory which ranges between 900-1100 eyeglass frames (often only one of each design/color in stock.) Responsibilities include creating purchase orders, submitting purchase orders to vendors, and receiving purchase orders into the office software. Other responsibilities include taking hard counts of inventory, returning damaged or stale inventory to the vendors, reconciling invoices as well as entering very detailed invoice and pricing information into the inventory database to maintain accurate eyewear retail pricing. Provide direct support to the entire optical team in processing and submitting orders, shipping packages to the optical labs and generating sales reports for review. Staying apprised of current styles and fashion trends, working with Optical Manager and frame reps to assist with buying the inventory and other administrative duties round out this position. Most importantly, provide support as a member of the entire office team to facilitate an outstanding experience for every patient in a complex, fast-paced environment. Primary Job Functions:

Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma, some college work or related degree preferred, or equivalent
Previous inventory control experience
