Overview

The Financial Analyst role serves as the business partner for the manufacturing, assembly and engineering stakeholders at Andis. This position will work with operational stakeholders to create financial plans, provide monthly variance reporting and support Andis product cost activities. This role will also play an integral role in Andis lean program by supporting the justification, performance and tracking of identified lean initiatives.

Responsibilities
    Serves as the finance resource for Andis manufacturing, assembly and engineering functions.
  • Works with operational stakeholders to create financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Utilizes allocation methodology to drive budget manufacturing and overhead costs to item product costs and ensures these costs are correctly reflected in the system.
  • Responsible for providing monthly financial statement information for operations on a timely basis.
  • Provides monthly variance analysis reporting for operations and works with business partners to understand and mitigate significant variances where possible.
  • Offers analysis of cost trends within the operational functions and meets with operations management to review trends against budget, forecasts and prior year.
  • Supports LEAN initiatives in the operations with business case development, target setting, implementation planning and post implementation reporting.
  • Analyzes product profitability for make items to support product life-cycle management and product margins.
  • Provides financial support for the Andis capital expenditure process, capital project justification and fixed asset management and reporting.
  • Prepares journal entries for month end close process as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 2 or more years of experience preferred. Senior position available based on experience.
  • Knowledge of budget and forecasting processes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and solid understanding of product costing and variance analysis reporting a plus.
  • Highly skilled in multi-tasking and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Capacity to meet established deadlines and prioritize work schedule.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Systems.
