Quality Assurance Technician: Willing to train!

Now Hiring for Day & Night Shift
A leading food manufacturer is seeking Entry Level Quality Assurance Technicians. Successful candidates will demonstrative capabilities of learning food manufacturing practices/ products and procedures of production and safety. Qualified candidates will be responsible to assist the company to meet customer specifications, while following all regulations.
Specific Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
This position is entry level and selected candidates will be required to demonstrate common sense and ability to learn as follows:
-Ability to follow directions/instructions.
-Monitor various weights, temperatures, sanitizer levels, metal detectors, etc.
-Conduct audits and collect samples as required
-Perform inspections, test and calibrate equipment
-Verify product labeling
Knowledge/Skills Required
-Strong communication skills and detail oriented
-Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred – ability to speak and understand English required
-Must be able to physically walk throughout the plant during QA rounds, climb ladders and step stools.
-Have visual acuity to detect product deficiencies and food safety issues.
Experience/Education Required
-Prior experience in food manufacturing would be helpful, but not required.
