Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service.  We are seeking a full-time Payment Application Specialist that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Performs daily posting of cash, checks, credit, and EFT payments accurately to patient accounts. 
  2. Responsible for preparing and balancing daily batch deposits.
  3. Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all payments are posted within allotted time.
  4. Ability to communicate and work effectively with Revenue Cycle teams and leadership.
  5. Be willing to cross-train and work with other Revenue Cycle teams

Qualifications:  
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. A minimum of two years working in a medical office including payment posting from remittance advices and Explanation of Benefits.
  3. Billing experience desired.
  4. Knowledge of insurance carrier claims processing.
  5. Knowledge of basic mathematics.
  6. Working knowledge of personal computers and office applications software such as MS Office.
  7. Ability to organize, list and tabulate data.
  8. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
