We are growing at Ellenbecker Investment Group and want to find a Tax Planning Advisor to join our tax team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with wealth advisor teams to plan efficient tax strategies for our clients.
• Support the wealth advisor teams within EIG with tax expertise and knowledge of current tax laws.
• Research applicable tax issues and strategies.  Share knowledgebase with wealth advisor teams.
• Analyze and prepare U.S. Federal and State income tax returns.  Advise clients through the tax preparation process.
• Establish and maintain relationships with tax clients to enhance their relationship with EIG.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to work independently and within the team, prioritizing and complete tasks.
• Strategize and evaluate opportunities for tax planning and preparation workflow efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant tax preparation experience is required; direct experience in the financial services industry a plus.
• Must possess an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Be an energetic, team-player that is passionate about being in a service industry.
