Job Description
Material Handler/Receiving
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for all storage, preparation and inventory of all ingredients, materials and supplies
*Unload/Load intercompany transfer and inbound vendors
*Move and keep a record of materials to and from the receiving docks, delivery trucks, storage and manufacturing
and manufacturing areas
*Stage and prepare materials according to the scheduled production run
*Identify labels and materials; record their locations via company inventory management system
*Follow all GMP and warehouse rules and safety guidelines
Requirements
*Material-Handling (experience preferred)
*Operation of sit down and high reach forklift (experience preferred)
*Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English
*Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently
*Must be able to work well in a team
*Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time and be able to bend and lift over 50lbs.
*Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
*Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends.
