Summary Under general supervision, the carpenter performs a variety of tasks to include; erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters, wood stairways, window, and door frames.

Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
Help erect, level, and install building framework
Experience in interior finish including drywall and bathroom accessories
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Time Management skills
Strong teamworking skills
Able to work additional hours as needed per the job
Ability to travel to project work sites.
Knowledge of related tools, carpentry techniques, equipment and materials
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
1-3 years of related work experience in a construction industry is a plus.
OSHA 10 hour preferred
