Position Summary: Receive, check-in and handle product in a timely and safe manner to optimize business savings, improve efficiencies and help achieve the business’s missions and goals. Essential Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)
Assure the work cells are properly stocked with raw materials to assure continuous production in all work cells.
Receive and check-in of raw materials, purchased stock and finished items, equipment, supplied and returned good.
Check received goods to purchase orders or receiving slips as to identification, type, part number, dimension, size, weight and general quality.
Inspect goods received for damage from handling and transit.
Deliver materials to storage or manufacturing areas.
Be responsible for keeping receiving docks and aisles clean of materials as received so as not to impede upon further arrival of materials.
Drive and unload box truck (if/as needed).

Qualifications:
3 years of forklift driving experience, previous Forklift Certification a plus
Minimum 1 to 2 years of picking experience to become familiar with material identities, material handling methods, and to attain accuracy and proficiency requirements.
Strong safety record
Basic Computer skills

Ability to understand/communicate basic English

Physical / Mental Demands:
Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
Moderate to heavy lifting = 40lbs on a regular basis (20% of time) and 75lbs occasionally (5% of time).
Operate motorized equipment such as fork truck. Ability to climb on and off as required.
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
