POSITION OBJECTIVES: Process customer sales transactions, assist customers with product location, straighten, face and dust item shelves.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This is an entry level position responsible for processing customer sales transactions into the Point of Sale System, assisting customers with locating material, and assisting customers with product locations within the store. Other duties include straightening and facing merchandise on the shelves and dusting when needed in order to maintain a neat appearance. Other duties may be assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to provide merchandise locations, information about merchandise, help customers make selections, understand basic principals of sales register operations. Understand basic shelf stocking principals. Be able to learn or be familiar with military/government organizations and acronyms. Should also have good Sales ability, coupled with good customer relations skills, general knowledge of PC and office equipment.
