Job Description:
Civil Engineering Co-op - responsible for supporting civil engineering projects under the supervision of a project manager. Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to solve problems in the design and construction of landfills, bridges, pipelines, and dams.
Responsibilities include:
*Field work such as: performing field tests and observations, developing daily field reports, attending progress meetings, demonstrating consistent/exemplary safety compliance, and alerting project personnel when problems or non-conforming test results are observed.
*Office work such as: performing engineering calculations, providing engineering support for field activity, writing technical reports, generating and editing engineering drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and assembling quality project deliverables.
Qualifications include:
*Pursuing degree in Civil Engineering.
*Organization, written communication, and oral communication skills.
*Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
*AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.

*Must be able to work constructively in diverse teams including engineers, technicians, and non-technical personnel.

*Must possess valid driver's license.
*Must be able to physically navigate construction sites.
*Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
