VDC Visualization Specialist

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This position is responsible for the visualization component of the virtual design and construction concepts and processes into the company’s construction management processes and technological systems.

This position is responsible for the visualization component of the virtual design and construction concepts and processes into the company’s construction management processes and technological systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Visualization for presentations, logistics, site selection, design alternatives & VR, plus video editing (Software and Equipment Knowledge: Twinmotion, Premier, Photoshop, VR equipment)
- Provide visualization (rendering, animation, VR, etc.) for project pursuits and existing clients
- Reality capture via laser scanning, drone flight processing for orthos, models, calcs, & 360 panoramas, 360 camera documentation setup and assistance (Software and Equipment Knowledge: Leica software, Recap, Scanner equipment, DroneDeploy, Photo Stitcher, Drone Equipment, StructionSite, 360 Cameras)
- Quantity Takeoff Assistance - setting up models, training, pushing updates (Software Knowledge: Revit, Assemble)
- Varies Continuous Improvement projects or VDC coordination tasks as needed
- Assist with Research and Development, championing new technologies throughout the organization to improve and optimize its workflows to provide better efficiencies.
- Stay current on developing technology within the AEC industry
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Game Design, Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience/training
- 1-3 years working in the AEC industry is plus.
- Excellent technology knowledge and skills.
- Software Knowledge as defined above.
- Creative thinker.
- Ability to train others on VDC and BIM concepts and technology.
