Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time VP of Finance that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Responsibilities include:
The Vice President of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership for the CHC.  The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for the oversight and execution of all the financial duties of the organization including: financial statements and reports, financial plans, policies and practices, and forecasts. Along with the leadership team, the Vice President of Finance will work with the Board of Directors, external accounting firms, creditors, stakeholders, general insurance representatives, investment advisors, record keepers, actuaries, banks and financial institutions. The position will report to the Chief Executive Officer.  The Vice President of Finance will support the Mission of the CHC and will exercise the principles leadership with integrity.
 
Qualifications:
  1. CPA or MBA and a degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
  2. Strong treasury / financial skills
  3. Over 5 years of experience in not for profit accounting
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  6. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government cost reporting and allowable cost policies
  7. Must be a team player and understand the unique environment of a not for profit agency.  Willingness to roll up sleeves and “do whatever it takes”
  8. Strong computer skills
  9. Individual must have integrity and honesty in all business dealings
