A Business Analyst who is the internal and external liaison for the business analysis of the technology and operation which include the development of implementation plans, system gaps analysis and project management in order to assure the promptly, accurate and proper function between the Finance department, Revenue cycle and Information Technology.
Responsibilities:
Analyze Finance and Revenue cycle performance; identify patterns and trends.
Aid and support for incoming queries and issues related to Finance and revenue cycle management, business development reporting and analytics.
Provide support with monthly close process, generating and preparing ad hoc and monthly analytic reports.
Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to internal customers; properly escalate unresolved queries to leadership.
Manage outcome and communicate resolutions.
Collaborate with leadership on revenue cycle workflow optimization to improve physician and facility reimbursement.
Aid in developing automated KPI’s for monitoring in process metrics.
Aid in process workflow documentation, optimization, and automation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or Healthcare Management with 3-5 years of experience or a Master of Business Administration or equivalent preferred
Strong analytical and Organizational skills and the ability make recommendations with supporting data
Strong oral and writing communications skills and ability to effectively communicate with leadership, medical and administrative staff
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to multi-task and set priorities of defined work appropriately to meet deadlines.
Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to customers and staff
Excellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of industry trends and difficulties
Ability to deal with multiple complicated differences inherited in the Health sector
Possession of commendable experience in the healthcare industries a plus
