Location: Franklin, WI - This position is NOT bus line accessible.
Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Thurs; 6:00AM-2:30PM
Pay Rate: $13/hr

POSITION SUMMARY: The Silicone Fabricator is primarily responsible for performing all operations in the production of tissue expander products. This includes: forming silicone parts, cutting, sealing, filling, inspecting, washing, labeling and packaging.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Perform specific operations as explained on the router and procedures. These will include the key silicone forming related processes in addition to various supporting operations such as cleaning equipment and parts used in production, labeling, packaging, inspection of parts and monitoring curing and sterilization processes.
Perform the key silicone forming processes that include:
Dipping – forming parts from manually dipping a mold core into silicone
Stripping parts – pulling silicone parts from mold cores without tearing parts
Texturing – applying texture to silicone parts
Patching – visually aligning and sealing silicone shells
Filling – using syringe to precisely fill silicone shells
Legibly and accurately record the completion of tasks on routers (and potentially computer or touch screens) or other forms used in the specific area
Apply attention to detail while performing all assigned tasks - for example: manually forming parts
Be willing to be trained to perform other duties as needed by production, such as mixing silicone
Adhere to strict clean room standards: hairnets, no make-up, gloves, gowning, GMP
Be willing to be trained to use instruments for measurement
SKILLS:
Prior experience with cGMP a huge PLUS!
Understand and follow the instructions per applicable routers and guidance documents (QOP, SOP, MOP, etc).
Attention to detail – the parts will look only as good as the fabricator can form them
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to stand up to 8 or 10 hours per shift.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to use proper PPE required including but not limited to safety glasses, clean room gown, respirator hood.
Ability to pass a pre-employment math test on site converting units of measurement, add, subtract multiplication and division.
Ability to read, write and speak English for proper training and documentation purposes.
Ability to twist, bend, lift hands/wrists/arms throughout entire shift.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Reliable transportation, position is not on a bus line.
