$500 SIGN ON BONUS ($250 at hire and $250 after 3 months)
Full time 2nd shift, hours are : 12 PM - 8 PM, 1 PM - 9 PM, or 2 PM - 10 PM. Hourly pay is increased by $1 for hours after 8:00 PM and all weekend hours.
Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI wants you to join our growing In-Home Recovery Team as a Family and Community Professionals work with adults with significant mental health concerns in the Wausau community. Clients are involved with North Central Health Care’s CCS and CSP programming. Services provided include daily visits to clients to assist with medication administration and management. Staff will also be involved with crisis management, case management and other tasks related to helping clients gain independence while remaining in their homes. This position requires attention to detail, ability to multi –task and the ability to problem solve. This is 2nd shift and requires rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Family and Community Professionals work collaboratively with the individuals, natural supports, social workers, and other provides to ensure a cohesive approach to services. Family and Community Professionals participate in team meetings and develop treatment objectives with social worker input. Given that the program serves the entire county, travel is required for the role.
The right candidate will be comfortable with an unstructured, flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends, travel in and around the service area, go into homes and exposure to all associated environmental factors, including cleanliness/pets/smokers, etc., and will be knowledgeable and aware of secondary trauma and self-care to promote sustainability.
Under the direction of an in-home recovery services program supervisor, program manager, and clinical supervisor, provides comprehensive community services (CCS) to individuals, families and groups. The work will involve recovery, support, and advocacy for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or AODA. This position requires meeting with clients in their home and/or community settings.

The incumbent of this position must have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.
TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required up to 60%, depending on specific role.
