Human Resources Generalist

Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.
Responsibilities Include: The generalist will assist in all function of human resources. The generalist’s primary function is responsible for the overall administration and management of the health center’s Non-Exempt In-House Recruitment and Volunteer Program. This includes coordinating all efforts involved in the initial screening of job applicants and the onboarding and managing of volunteers, supporting SSCHC staff in leveraging volunteers, and regular evaluation of the Volunteer Program for growth and change. Additional responsibilities will be assisting with benefits, compensation and other human resources responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- In-house recruitment experience a plus
- Previous experience with a community service or volunteer program preferred
- Experience in a human resources office
- Must be organized and able to work independently
- Experience working with a bilingual, multicultural population
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, use of an automobile and current automobile insurance
