BILTRITE Furniture-Leather-Mattresses, a 4th generation locally owned & operated family retail business, has an immediate opening for a Full Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Professional.
Top candidates are professional, mature, self motivated, experienced and responsible. You will need to be able to handle our busy retail work environment. Ability to multi-task is a must. Excellent handwriting and communication skills are essential. We are looking for the right personality to be able to relate well with our customers along with a professional appearance. Must be able to be quick on your feet to assist a customer, be a team player, fast learner, smart, follow directions/procedures & give directions. The top candidate must also be able to handle pressure and have a smile on your face when working with our customers. There is definitely opportunity to grow with our family's business!
Qualifications
- Experience in administrative duties (Excel is a plus)
- People & Communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Associates degree required, College degree highly preferred
- 7-10 years experience
- Retail experience a must, furniture experience a plus
- Handwriting skills
- Computer, phone and math skills (including a calculator)
Duties include but are not limited to: Completing our sales transactions (financing, credit card, scheduling deliveries & pick ups, etc.), greeting & interacting with our customers, mailings, office work (Excel), answering our phone (multi-lines), etc. Must be friendly and have good communication skills with an understanding of a retail environment! Our goal is for you to be a part of our family business long term.
High School Degree Required. College degree highly preferred.
Schedule (3-4-5 Day Work Week Available)
Weekdays PLUS Saturday
Weekdays 10am to 6pm (Days off during the week)
Saturdays 10am to 6pm (Saturdays required)

Wonderful family friendly store hours Monday Thru Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday Closed to be with family.
