Job Summary: 
The Property Accountant is responsible for providing direct financial management for the assigned properties. Founders 3 is seeking bright, forward thinking, deadline driven and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Ideal candidates will have entrepreneurial spirit, driven to improve their part of the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate reporting of property financial operations on a monthly basis for assigned portfolio.
  • Financial statement reconciliation, analysis and review with Property Manager.
  • Utility bill backs.
  • Cash management functions including bank reconciliation, ACH, Wire Transfer and payment processing.
  • Sales and use tax returns.
  • Commercial and Residential Lease Review.
  • Annual year end reconciliation process including CAM.
  • Account research and review, as necessary.
  • Work closely with Property Managers, Accountants, clients and corporate personnel to provide top quality customer service, budgets and financial reports.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience with emphasis in real estate industry or multi-company accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Extremely organized, strong multi- tasking and proven time management skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager and/or other property management systems
  • Experience working in Real Estate and Property Management
  • Understanding of Sales and Use Tax Returns and concepts
