What is the purpose of our Behavioral Health Services?


At Catholic Charities, our Behavioral Health Services serve the mental health needs of the poor and under-served. Our team of therapists help individuals, couples, and families overcome emotional distress and trauma. We recognize the added challenges of people living in poverty and accept patients who do not have any means to pay, as well as those with limited resources, on a sliding fee scale adjusted to an individual’s or family’s size and financial situation. Additionally, third party insurance payers, Medicare and Medicaid are accepted.

What will I do as a School Based Case Manager?


In order to help students function effectively in their school environment, the School-Based Case Manager will triage issues with students and families as well as provide support services to explore, problem solve, and resolve issues.  You will partner with school administrators and teachers to develop and implement plans that provide specialized support for select students throughout the course of the school year.  As an advocate for the client, the Case Manager will help the student and their families obtain available resources within Catholic Charities and/or the community.

What are the requirements?

Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or related field required, such as: Human Development and Family Studies, Human Services, or Sociology. Prior experience at a not-for-profit agency or school-based setting preferred.  Two years of previous experience providing social services to students, individuals, and families is a plus.
