Quality Assurance Technician
Now Hiring for Day Shift & Night Shift!
Entry Level Candidates Welcome to Apply:
A leading food manufacturer is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Technician. Successful candidates will ensure food products are produced safely and fall within company and customer specifications, while following all regulations.
Specific Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
-Enforce GMPs
-Monitor various weights, temperatures, sanitizer levels, metal detectors, etc.
-Conduct audits and collect samples as required
-Perform inspections, test and calibrate equipment
-Verify product labeling
Knowledge/Skills Required
-Strong communication skills and detail oriented
-Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred – ability to speak and understand English required
-Must be able to physically walk throughout the plant during QA rounds, climb ladders and step stools.
-Have visual acuity to detect product deficiencies and food safety issues.
Experience/Education Required
-Some experience required, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
Echo Lake Foods has created new egg products for customers for decades, from breakfast entrees to main dishes. Products are used in school systems, hotels, healthcare and correctional facilities and restaurants.
