SUMMARY:
Secure Global Solutions is looking to hire a motivated person to round out our Network Operations team.The Network Operations Center has various shifts available.We are looking for experienced Linux Administrators and Network Operations Support candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide teams and customers with technical escalation, support and troubleshooting services on any issues routed through SGS NOC.
- Care and upkeep of our various Linux appliances and servers. This includes upgrades, backups, hardware and software maintenance.
- Background in Linux, MYSQL and/or Apache support and maintenance is a plus.
- Operations support responsibilities include service desk monitoring, incident triage and customer support.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work well in a self-directed environment
- Dedicated, detail oriented with ability to focus
- Experience or technical certifications with Windows and Linux operating systems and the supporting knowledge on how to resolve issues on these platforms
- Manage the upkeep of our Linux ecosystems
- Preferred experience with a Network Operations Center in a manged service/co-location environment
- Preferred experience with networking technologies such as Cisco
- Application support experience is a plus
