Lead Program Assistant that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take-charge individual.
Responsibilities include: assist with management and coordination of Lead Program initiatives including orientation and training of staff, cultivating and maintaining relationship with key public, private and non-profit sector partners in support of program related activities, and developing educational materials and presentation for use in outreach
activities,serve as primary liaison to medical providers and laboratories staff to ensure appropriate coordination of lead testing for clients, administer finger-stick blood least tests, provide basic childhood lead poisoning prevention education to clients and staff, participate in door-to-door canvassing.
Successful applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred, administrative experience with skills in data entry and MS Office applications, valid driver’s license, use of an automobile, and current auto insurance, and have the ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours. In addition, applicants must have effective bilingual written and oral communication skills (Spanish/English).
