The work for this position takes place in an indoor plant and is year-round.

The successful candidate who joins our company will assist in a variety of duties in our precast concrete yard and will have a hard-working and team player attitude.

Job Description:
The successful candidate who joins our company will assist in a variety of duties in our precast concrete yard and will have a hard-working and team player attitude.
Duties:
- Assists yard crew in sandblasting, patching, acid etching of concrete products
- Ability to learn to operate 65 ton all-terrain crane to move large wall panels & other concrete products
- Loading concrete products on various delivery vehicles, ensuring security and safety for transporting
- Operate front end loader to transport various materials
- Assemble concrete products on pallets and wrap securely and appropriately for delivery to job site
- Labeling packing slips on concrete pieces for proper job identification and correct transporting
- Organize and clean yard and remove debris to keep a safe environment for all employees and clients
- Provide appropriate yard maintenance, i.e., snow plowing, shoveling, salting as needed
- Maintain yard vehicles and equipment as needed to ensure all are being kept in good working condition
- Perform crane rigging and signaling for drivers as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
- The ability to lift 50 pound repetitively several times a day
- General understanding of yard vehicles and equipment
- Proven experience using crane, forklift, skid loader, semi yard trailer
- General understanding of concrete preferred
- The ability to follow direction from supervision
- The ability to work in inclement weather conditions, year-round
- Good housekeeping skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to operate equipment safely
- Strong work ethic
- The ability to work overtime as needed
- Willingness to be at work on time every day!
