What You Will Do
A successful Billing Specialist will be expected to routinely accomplish the following:

• Code in-office and outpatient procedures and diagnostics, including ENT, audiology and allergy services
• Supply provider education regarding coding and documentation
• Keep current of payer regulations and documentation requirements
• New hire hospital and payer credentialing. Maintaining ongoing credentialing of current staff
• Responding to patient inquiries
• Maintain semi-automated patient collections accounts
• Write appeals for denials

What You Need
In our search for the best fit, ADVENT is looking for candidates who possess the following:

• 2-3+ years of customer service experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Office and call center experience preferred
• Ability to effectively interact, in person, over the phone and in-writing with patients as well as all staff members.
• Ability to multitask and work easily with others
• Excellent Communication Skills
• A strong customer service focus
• Monday-Friday Full Time position;  availability between 8am-5pm, with the ability to stay later if needed at times, possible weekends on occasion to assist with workload
