Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Marketing & Communications Associate that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual

 
Responsibilities include: Collaborate with Director of Communications and Advancement staff to develop and plan goal-oriented strategies and campaigns and produce and implement marketing and communication efforts for all events, including material creation , responsible for production and implementation of strategic digital and print campaigns, generate accurate, engaging digital content for the website, blog, email campaigns and social media channels, collaborate with Director of Communications to manage all aspects of the Sixteenth Street social media assuring quality of content and maintain content calendar, this includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, blogs and other digital content, responsible for maintenance of agency website using WordPress as a content management platform, develop key metrics for social media, website, e newsletter and other digital campaigns, support department colleagues in tasks related to building, coordinating strong special events, maintain editorial, graphics and branding standards for all Sixteenth Street communication/materials, work with Communications Director on internal communications when needed, support additional PR and development efforts.
 
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or similar field
  2. 2 years’ experience in marketing/communications role with emphasis on digital and social media
  3. Strong spoken and written communication skills
  4. Speak and write in English and Spanish with a native or bilingual fluency
  5. Personality that is energetic, outgoing, with willingness to collect stories from patients and staff
  6. Ability to interpret data and write clear, compelling messages to reach targeted audience(s)
  7. Ability to design digitized images, flyers, charts, infographics, and other graphics to enhance the appearance and readability of digital and print materials
  8. Knowledge of image creation in relation to social media campaigns to enhance engagement
  9. Ability to create, plan and execute integrated social media campaigns
  10. Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and projects while working as part of a team
  11. Preferred knowledge of the WordPress content management platform
  12. Interest in health communication and social marketing
  13. Willingness to update skills on a regular basis to keep abreast of rapidly changing technology
  14. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic/cultural and educational background and to craft messages as such in an informative and innovative manner.
